	The greenark is located in Stoke Park, near the Lido and Guildford College. We are working towards making it energy sufficient, teaching people how they can make their house energy efficient, and so reducing domestic greenhouse gases and fuel bills. Solar energy and wood fuel will be the sole sources of energy, both clean and infinite resources, especially as the wood will be sourced from Guildford Borough Council's own sustainably managed woodlands. The energy will provide electricity and water heating. Rain & wastewater will be recycled. Rainwater will be used for the model allotment and immediate landscape. An interactive display will be open to the public all year round, providing up to date information. Greenark is for the whole community, focusing on education and appealing to the wider public. The building will be available to volunteer groups and businesses to hire for functions, micro-conferences and training days.
