The Guildford in Bloom Awards were held in September 2006 in the prestigious Burchatts Farm Barn.
The awards are presented to residents and businesses who have made an outstanding contribution to enhance their local environment. They achieve this through colourful planting schemes and well designed horticultural displays. The competition has been established to encourage gardeners and designers of all abilities and all age groups.

Enter Guildford in Bloom 2007
Calling all Green Fingered Residents! Ever thought of entering your front garden or hanging baskets into a competition? Parks and Countryside will be launching Guildford in Bloom 2007 in May.
It’s not just about hanging baskets, bedding and clean streets. Guildford in Bloom promotes wildlife and biodiversity too!
Sponsored by Burns and Webber Estate Agents, lucky winners will receive upto £50.00 gardening vouchers and be invited to the Awards Ceremony in September 2007. Your garden could well be worthy of a prize - it does not need to be perfect - points will be awarded for good colour, design, choice of plants and conservation value, such as water conservation or homes for wildlife.
