FISH facts, figures and comments

2009 was one of the most successful years for FISH, both the Easter and summer scheme were over-subscribed.

123 young people attended at Easter with 180 attending each week over the summer.

72% of young people at Easter and 56% at summer were from our target groups.  This includes young people from the more deprived areas of Guildford, families on benefits and those young people referred by social services or the police etc.

86% of young people made friends whilst at FISH, with 86% also learning new skills.

Paintballing and Spectrum were the most popular activities in 2009.

Samba Drumming and Cheerleading were amongst the least popular activities in 2009.
