General Supervisor
No qualifications are required for this role but previous experience of working with young people is desirable. Whilst supervising the young people you will have the chance to get involved with all the fun activities. It will be your responsibility to ensure the safety of the young people at the same time as offering your support and enthusiasm to contribute towards their enjoyment of the activity.
Special Needs Worker
No qualifications are required for this role but previous experience of working with young people with special needs is desirable. This is an important role that helps the scheme to be fully inclusive. You will attend all activities with a young person with special needs. You will be responsible for providing them with the level of support that they need in order to join in and enjoy the activity.
Co-coordinator
No qualifications are required for this role but previous experience of working with young people and / or within an administrative role is desirable. A valuable member of the FISH team, you will help to ensure the smooth running of the scheme. Mainly based at FISH reception it will be your responsibility to maintain the activity registers as well as using your problem solving skills to resolve any behaviour, staffing or activity issues that may arise.
Volunteer
No qualifications or experience is required for this role. This is particularly tailored towards 16 and 17 year olds who are not old enough to be employed in the above roles but still want to join the FISH team. Offering your services as a volunteer on FISH could help to provide you with the valuable experience you need to pursue a career in a similar field in the future. You will not be directly responsible for the young people attending the scheme but will support the General Supervisors during the activities and at break times.
