Taxi News Update May 2009
Taxi trade meeting
Taxi trade meetings took place on the 5 March and the 6 May 2009 at the council offices at Millmead House Guildford. These meetings are held by Guildford Borough Council to enable the hackney carriage trade to meet and discuss current and future taxi fare rates.
Taxi Advisory Group (TAG)
The next meetings for the TAG has been scheduled for the following date
These meetings are for invited members of the taxi and private hire trade only. Numbers for these meetings are restricted to enable matters that affect their members to be raised and discussed by the trade with elected members and officers in a less formal setting.
If you are a member of one of the taxi or private hire organisations you need to speak to the secretary of your organisation to ensure when and if they attend. At a TAG meeting they raise these issues on your behalf; they are your voice.
