Merrow park and ride is open for business for shoppers, commuters and visitors, from this Monday 29 September.
Open in good time for the start of the busy Christmas shopping period, a total of 335 spaces will be available at the site which is on the A25.
With the aim of helping to meet customer demand and reduce congestion in the town centre, the new park and ride facility provides a convenient and cost effective option for those travelling into the centre of Guildford.
Buses run every 15 minutes from 7.30am to 7.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Buses stop at Cross Lanes, Guildford Library and Guildford Bus Station.
This initiative is part of Guildford Borough Council's commitment to improving residents’ local surroundings, by focusing on issues that matter most to them such as a cleaner, safer and greener environment.
