The imposing stone castle keep, built during the reign of Henry II is all that remains of Surrey's only Royal Castle. Close to the High Street, it is set in beautiful grounds which are a riot of spectacular colour in the Spring and Summer.

Guildford Park Road Car Park (half a mile). Drop off outside Guildford Museum in Quarry Street.
