Guidance notes for our online Building Control fee calculator
Please complete the relevant boxes in the left hand column of the fee calculator.
The charges for each of the three tables Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 are indicated for each of the application types i.e. full plans, building notice and regularisation.
The fee that will be required with your application will be one of the following:

Total plan charge including VAT

Total building notice charge including VAT

Total regularisation charge
Please scroll down to the bottom of the fee calculator to access the total charges payable which will include VAT (where applicable).
Please note that the inspection charge for the full plan submission will be invoiced following our first inspection.
Where the electrical works or installation of windows and/or doors form part of a new extension or are elements of a new dwelling these are included within our charges and should not be added in Table 3.
The total estimated cost of work means an acceptable reasonable estimate that would be charged by a person in business to carry out the work(s) shown or described in the application.
The estimate should exclude VAT and any professional charges paid to an architect, engineer or surveyor etc, and also exclude land acquisition costs.
