- We have now adopted the new national and local lists for the validation of planning applications , in line with the 1APP national application forms.
- Please note that on April 6 2008 the use of the new 1APP forms became mandatory and you are no longer able to submit applications using our old forms. The fees associated with applications also changed from this date.

- On 24 September 2007 we received a Direction from the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government outlining which Guildford Borough Local Plan 2003 policies could be saved beyond September 2007. The Direction from the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government [PDF] (82k) has resulted in several Local Plan policies expiring, with implications for Planning Applications and the Guildford Development Framework.
