The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is the project plan for the production of documents, plans and policies that form part of the Guildford Development Framework (GDF).  It also reviews and identifies the resources required, potential constraints and milestones to monitor progress.

The latest approved LDS is dated May 2007, however, some parts are now outdated, so we have removed it from this webpage.  If you would like a copy of the latest approved LDS (2007), please contact the Planning Policy Team.

A new LDS is being prepared in discussion with the Government Office for the South East (GOSE). We have submitted a legal challenge of the South East Plan and are currently enquiring about the likely timescales for the challenge and assessing how this will impact on the preparation of the GDF.  This will be taken into account as we update the LDS.

At present there is no date set for when the new LDS will be available.  When it is available, this webpage will be updated.
