The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) explains how you can be involved in the Guildford Development Framework (GDF) and how we will consult you on planning applications. It is also used by developers when planning for a site.
The SCI was adopted by Guildford Borough Council in 2007. It can be viewed from the link below.
Preparation of the SCI
Work started on the SCI in 2005 and involved consultation with many community groups. The SCI was subject to examination by a Planning Inspector, before it was approved for use by the council on 21 February 2007.
