What does it cost to make an application?


In most situations, you will need to pay a fee when you submit a planning application.  The amount you will need to pay will depend on the work you are applying to do.

You will need to send us your fee when you submit your application.  We have a fee schedule which sets out the fee you will need to pay.  These fees are set by central government and updated periodically.

Without the correct fee, we will be unable to register the application.  We will write to you if the fee you have sent us is not correct, and tell you how much more you need to send us or how much we will be refunding.

Please note that if you wish to make a payment using a credit card, a commission charge of 1.8% is also payable.  This amount will be added to your transaction.  Debit card payments can be made free of charge.
