Built by the Venetian architect, Leoni, in the 1730s for 2nd Lord Onslow, Clandon Park has one of the finest marble halls in Europe. The 4th Earl served as Governor of New Zealand from 1888 - 1892, which is why there is a Maori meeting house in the grounds.

Attractive gardens contain a sunken Dutch garden, grotto and stunning bulb field in spring. Inside, a superb collection of 18th century furniture, textiles and one of the finest collections of porcelain, including Meissen Commedia dell'arte figures.
Clandon is also home to the Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment Museum.
