Residents and visitors will be able to explore the architectural and cultural heritage of Guildford borough free of charge during a weekend of events for Heritage Open Days from 12 and 14 September.
We are pleased to confirm that Guildford's Heritage Open Days 2008 will be sponsored by Meldrum Salter Edgley, Guildford's oldest firm of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents.
Promoted nationally by the Civic Trust, and locally by the council, Guildford Tour Guides and the Guildford Society, last year Guildford had one of the highest number of Open Day events in the UK, and more than 11,800 visits were made to the many attractions, making 2007 our most successful Heritage Open Days yet.
