If you are approaching Guildford from London (A3) or the the M25 (join the A3 at Junction 10), remain on the A3 until you reach the exit signed Guildford Town Centre.  Please note that the exit for Guildford Cathedral, The Royal Surrey Hospital and Guildford University is the next exit south on the A3, after the signs for Guildford Town Centre.
