The County Club was founded in 1881 as a meeting place for the 'elite of the county families'. It is now primarily a luncheon club catering mainly for the business community in and around Surrey.
However, having recently been renovated to the highest standard, it now boasts excellent facilities for a wide range of business and social functions.

The Carroll Room
The Carroll Room, which enjoys a spectacular view over Guildford High Street, has been set up primarily as a boardroom with an imposing antique oval table, seating up to 14.
The Abbot Room
The smallest function room, which is ideal for intimate gatherings and private lunches, can seat up to 14 people and also enjoys a magnificent views of the High Street and Surrey Downs. This room is connected to the Wodehouse Room by double doors.
The Wodehouse Room
A large conference or training room accommodating up to 55. A separate reception area is adjacent and the adjoining Abbot Room can be incorporated to take the potential of guests up to around 95.
The Doric Room
This magnificent room is the jewel in the crown of the County Club. By arrangement, it can have its own reception room and access into a charming courtyard. Depending on the function, this room can provide a banquet for around 70 people or a finger buffet reception for up to 120. The Doric Room is suitable for a variety of large social and business functions, banquets, wedding receptions, seminars and conferences, and is available at weekends, evenings or for breakfast meetings.
