The University of Surrey's Stag Hill campus enjoys an enviable reputation for the conference facilities which it can provide.  

The campus has over 80 meeting rooms seating 10 - 418 and an exceptional choice of restaurants and accommodation. All facilities are located within a compact campus, which is one of the largest conference venues in Surrey during university vacation times.  

Year round there are two purpose built venues for day meetings of up to 70 people and private function and dinner dance facilities for up to 400.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Guildford town centre, directly off the A3 and only nine miles from the M25, the campus proves a highly desirable venue to attract speakers and delegates.  Heathrow and Gatwick are reached within one hour.

Meetings and Exhibitions

The  largest meeting room is a modern auditorium seating 418 people, located in the Management School.  Adjacent to this is the Austin Pearce building which has  four tiered meeting rooms seating up to 400 or flat meeting space for up to 160 people cabaret style.  

For smaller meetings there is a wide choice of modern and well located seminar rooms seating from ten people upwards for boardroom, classroom or cabaret style meetings.

Two year round venues offer a convenient location and good quality facilities for day meetings of up to 70 people with parking.

Many meeting rooms have adjacent space suitable for exhibitions, poster displays and buffets. 

Catering  services

The university campus has four restaurants and bars, all providing a unique setting for conference catering, private functions, parties, weddings and dinner dances for up to 400.  

Our experienced catering team have prepared a range of menus to suit a range of budgets or will create a menu unique to a special event.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available during university vacation times and is located within easy walking distance of meeting rooms and restaurants.  

There are 500 en suite rooms and a further 500 standard rooms.
