The Surrey Hills provides the perfect terrain for Britain's most recent and exciting and new outdoor activity. Originally from Finland, Nordic walking was developed as a method for cross-country skiers to train during the off-season. Using specially designed carbon poles to propel the body forward with more power, Nordic walkers can burn up to 40% more calories than during normal walking. A great way to stay in shape - Nordic walking attracts all corners from the least physically fit to the serious fitness enthusiast and can be enjoyed in all weathers and seasons.

We teach Nordic Walking in different locations throughout the Surrey Hills. Classes and beginners' workshops are held seven days a week with a special 'foodie' walk on Sunday afternoons in the autumn and winter months.

Cost:

  • Beginners' workshop - £15.00
  • Classes:
    • one hour - £10.00
    • 90 minutes -  £15.00
    • two hours - £20.00
  • Pole rental - £5.00
