The Quality Assurance Scheme explained
All the properties promoted by Guildford Borough council have been awarded a quality rating by the AA or Quality in Tourism on behalf of Visit Britain.
All properties have been visited by a qualified assessor and are awarded a rating of 1 - 5 stars based on comfort, cleanliness, facilities and services. Special gold and silver awards are granted by Quality in Tourism to serviced accommodation achieving the highest levels of quality within their grading.
The only exceptions are the larger hotel chains which operate their own internal assessment schemes.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you find cause for complaint, we strongly advise you to take it up with the accommodation provider at the time of your stay while they have the opportunity to put things right.
Alternatively, you can contact the Tourist Information Centre who can advise you how to proceed with a written complaint.
