There is a Scout group in most wards in Guildford and with approximately 3,000 members in Guildford alone, Scouting is as popular as ever. However with increasing work commitments we are finding it hard to find volunteers so if you feel you can give some time, no matter how little you feel it may be, please contact us to find out more.

Of course the adults wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for the young people and there are details on all of our sections which are open to girls and boys.

There are 9 scout groups and explorer units in Guildford West:

• 1st Rydes Hill (St. Mary's)
• St. Francis (Westborough)
• 9th Guildford (St. Nicolas)
• 1st Stoughton
• 2nd Westborough
• Wood Street (St. Albans)
