Live and Direct is an ongoing workshop and gig support network for young musicians and potential musicians.

You'll be encouraged to write your own songs starting from the first session

Professional musicians who perform in their own bands lead the workshops

You don't have to read music or own your own instrument to take part and there are no auditions.
Gig venues have included The Electric Theatre, the University of Surrey, Ambient Picnic Festival and Euphonic - the youth music festival for Surrey. Only members of Live and Direct can perform at the gigs, but all are welcome to come along.
