Guildford Youth Council is made up of young people between the ages of 12-19, from schools and youth organisations in the Guildford area. They represent their peers' views and are interested in working together to help themselves, other young people and the community.
Youth councils become involved in a wide range of activities. Their key role is to make sure that your views are widely heard and understood.
Guildford Youth Council is a great place to go if you want to get involved and make sure your ideas and opinions are heard. Why not join them? Or, if you're not sure about joining, you can go along to one of their meetings to check out what happens. The Youth Council meets once a month, generally on a Thursday, to discuss issues and topics of interest. Agendas and minutes are available for these meetings.
