Guildford offers a wide range of sports to choose from.  Guildford Spectrum is one of the largest multi-facility leisure complexes in the UK, with an Olympic size ice rink, 4 swimming pools, health & fitness facilities, a 32 lane ten-pin bowling centre, a sports arena and athletics stadium.  It also hosts major national and international sports events and other activities.

Guildford Lido is only minutes from the town centre and is the perfect way to spend a relaxing sunny afternoon.  The 50 metre main pool is heated and well maintained.  There are separate changing areas, paddling pools for smaller children and lawns to have picnics or just sunbathe on.  There is also a small café that sells drinks and snacks and crazy golf to have a go at.  If you feel like a workout then the Workshop Gym is based at the Lido as well.

Ash Manor Sports Centre with Energy Level Health and Fitness, is a multi-activity indoor and outdoor sports centre.  It has one of the best fitness centres in the area.  Energy Level is a new, state of the art gym with 40 workstations for a complete cardio-vascular and resistance workout.  Whatever your fitness level there are plently of qualified advisors on site to help you out.  Whether you want to get fit, tone and shape your body, or just want somewhere to have a gentle work-out and meet friends. 

Guildford also has top class sports facilities at the University of Surrey  as well as centres such as the Wey Valley Indoor Bowls Club and the well known Craggy Island climbing centre.
