BYP Youth:Café at Park Barn Community Centre

BYP Youth Café is a drop in zone for young people in school years 4-11.  It's open twice a week:

  • Mondays 4pm to 6pm
  • Tuesdays 7pm to 9pm

It only costs 50p to come in and you can stay as long as you like or just pop in to say hello. There are loads of things to do including table tennis, football, 3 pool tables, play station and lots of games including air hockey.

There is also music and magazines for you to enjoy and a tuck shop with reduced prices.

BYP Community Football

  • Fridays, 3.15-4pm for school years 8-11
  • Fridays, 4-4.45pm for years 4-7
  • Where? Kings College, Astroturf (behind the youth link building and car park)
  • How much? Nothing! This event is free!

A chance to improve your football skills and keep fit!  The session is overseen by a coach.  Entry is free but you must complete an emergency contact form to play.

BYP Youth Council

The BYP has its own Youth Council made up of young people who attend project activities.  The group help to plan activities, develop projects, decide where money should be spent and help out with fundraising.  Members of the Youth Council must also join the Guildford Youth Council and get involved with projects in the wider community.
