I have lived in Normandy since the early 1960s and was elected as Borough Councillor for the Ward in 1999.

I sit on the Council's Planning Committee and Community & Health Scrutiny Committee.  I am also a member of Surrey County Council's Local Commitee, which gives Normandy a voice on transport matters.

I have been appointed as the Borough Council's representative to the Wanborough Barns Management Committee, Access Group, Blackwater Valley Advisory Committee for Public Transport and the Surrey Heathlands Project. 

Outside of my council duties, I am an active member of the local WI.
