About me

Photo of Nigel Manning

I was elected as a Conservative Borough Councillor in 2001 and represent the Ash Vale Ward. I have also been Chairman of Ash Parish Council since my election in May 2002.

I currently serve on the Council’s Executive as Lead Member for Procurement, Projects and Performance and am also a member of the Guildford’s Local Committee.

I represent the Council on the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership, Ash Citizens’ Advice Bureau, Sport Guildford and Ash Manor School Joint Committee (Dual Use of Sports Facilities).

I am a trustee of the James Payne and Henry Smith Charities which are for the benefit of Ash residents.  I also sit on the Ash Joint Action Group (JAG) Police Panel.

Politically, I am Chairman of Surrey Heath Conservative Association and Chairman of Ash, Ash Vale and Ash Wharf Conservative branch.

You can contact me by email, telephone or letter.  My details are in the Councillor database.
