Photo of Pauline Searle

I was born in Guildford and have lived here all my life.  I am married to Victor and have three children and three grand-children.

I was elected as a Stoughton Ward Councillor in 1999 and serve on the Council's Community & Health Scrutiny Committee and as a substitute member of the Council's Planning Committee.  I also represent the Council on the Guildford Arts Executive Committee.

I was a childminder for 25 years and have a big interest in children's facilities and issues.  I was a member of Guildford Play Association and helped to run a holiday playscheme for 14 years.  I am also Chair of the Stoughton Youth and Community Centre.

I am a Governor at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, which all three of my children attended.  I am also a Governor at Christ's College and a Trustee at Disability Challengers.

I was elected as Surrey County Councillor for Guildford North in 2005 and am a member of the Children and Families Select Committee and the Health Scrutiny Committee.

I am the Deputy Mayor for the Borough in 2008/09.

You can contact me by email, telephone or letter.  My details are in the Councillor database.
