I first came to Guildford as a law student and now live in the town with my husband and three children.
I have been a Conservative councillor for Holy Trinity Ward since being elected in May 2003. I am the Chair of the Licensing Committee and Vice-Chair of the Environment & Housing Scrutiny Committee. I also attend Planning Committee meetings as a substitute member and am the council's representative on the Voluntary Grants Panel and Guildford Poyle Charities.
I am a qualified solicitor, but no longer practice law. In addition to my council duties, I am an active governor of three local schools and a board member of the town's Citizens' Advice Bureau and of a local housing association.
Together with my family, I am very involved in my local church and in my spare time I enjoy music, skiing and taking long walks in the Chantries.
You can contact me by email, telephone or letter. My details are in the Councillor database.
