About the Tourist Information Centre

Guildford's Tourist Information Centre is situated in the front of Guildford House, a 17th Century Grade I listed town house at the top of the cobbled High Street - opposite Sainsbury's. 

We will provide you with a free shopping map of Guildford, and a copy of the Visit Surrey destination guide and the Guildford Attractions Guide, full of places to eat, things to do and places to stay in Guildford and the surrounding area.

While you are here, you can explore Guildford House Art Gallery with its constantly changing programme of temporary exhibitions, including touring exhibitions and work from Guildford Borough's art collection.  Visit the Gallery Gift Shop with its unique range of greetings cards and craft work by local artists, and stop off for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea in the Gallery Cafe which has a heated marquee and outside seating as well as the cosy interior. - locally sourced food prepared fresh on the premises.
