Model Boating Pond

The Model Boat Pond is located in Stoke Park Gardens and is very popular for sailing model boats. There is a bridge connecting a small island in the pond. Recommended that all children should be supervised by a responsible adult and under 8s should be accompanied by an adult.

Live Farm Animal Display at Guildford's Summer Farmers' Markets
All ages
Get up close and personal with our live farm animals and find out more about their lifestyles. Display provided by educational charity Kidsrome of Petersfield, as part of Guildford's Summer Farmers' Markets. Accessible for buggies. Hot hand washing facilities provided. Free, but optional donation to charity tin welcomed.

Become a 'Bug Detective', experience 'A Night with the Stars' and challenge yourself to our '50 things along the Wey' quiz. Join the 'Ship Wreck Explorers Family Fun Day' and climb aboard 'Treasure Island', with pirate themed fancy dress, activities, storytelling and treasure trail.

August Bank Holiday: Enjoy games, pony rides and have a go archery over the August Bank Holiday.
Open-air theatre: Romeo and Juliet: Enjoy the world's greatest love story performed by the all-male cast of the Lord Chamberlain's Men. Suitable for 11 year olds and over.
Open-air Theatre: Alice - The Musical! Bring a picnic, sit back and enjoy the Cambridge Touring Theatre's musical and fun adaptation of 'Alice in Wonderland' with music and dancing, it will be a delight for children and grown-ups alike.
Funday Fridays: 2 to 11 year olds can enjoy arts and crafts, giant garden games and a children's trail. Plus pony rides and Have a Go Archery on selected days.

Summer Fun at Sutherland Memorial Park
All ages
Sutherland Memorial Park is a large, multi-use park with an excellent range of facilities including a well-equipped playground with newly installed ability roundabout, football and cricket pitches, tennis courts, a lawn bowls green, teen shelter, basketball post, trim trail and ball court. Under 16s can hire the newly upgraded tennis courts for just £5 per hour.
