Garden waste sacks

What can I put in my garden waste sack?

• Grass cuttings.
• Garden pruning's.
• Hedge trimmings.
• Leaves.
• Small twigs/woody waste.
• Dead plants/weeds.
• Branches no larger than 7.5cm (3') diameter.

What can't I put in my garden waste sack?

• Flowerpots.
• Seed trays.
• Metal objects.
• Kitchen or food waste.
• Wood/timber.
• Large branches.
• Hardcore.
• Turf.
• Household waste.
• Soil.
• Animal/pet bedding.

Sacks should not be too heavy to carry. A good test is that if you can lift and carry them comfortably to a height of one metre (3') then so should the collection crew. Sacks need to be set out at the kerbside in a clearly visible location by 7am on your collection day.
