A booking fee of 50p per ticket applies to all face to face, phone and postal bookings.
A booking fee of 5% applies to all online bookings.
Box Office opening hours:
Monday to Saturday: 10.30am - 5pm or until the start of the performance on performance nights.
Sunday opening times may vary.
Please note: The Box Office is closed on Sundays when no performance is taking place.
We are also the booking office for Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra.
Payment Methods
Cash
We still take good old-fashioned cash. Just pop into the Box Office during opening hours.
Cheques
Please make cheques payable to Guildford Borough Council. We recommend making a telephone reservation before sending cheques in the post. Please enclose a pre paid envelope if you would like the tickets posted back to you, otherwise they can be left at the box office for collection.
Credit and debit cards
We accept MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Solo either in person or over the phone. We do not charge a credit card fee. We do not accept American Express.
Posting tickets
Tickets may be posted to you for an extra charge of 50 pence. We post tickets to Friends of The Electric Theatre free of charge.
Concessions
A concession ticket price may apply for certain events. Concessions are senior citizens, Friends of The Electric Theatre, children under 16, students, registered disabled people and Job Seekers unless otherwise stated.
Reservations
We are happy to reserve tickets for you and contact details must be left with box office staff at the time of making the reservation. Tickets will be held for three working days, or until one hour before the start of the performance (whichever is sooner). Non confirmed reservations may be cancelled without prior notice after this time.
Terms & Conditions
Refunds and exchanges
Once you have paid for your tickets, we are unable to make refunds. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same show at no extra charge, subject to availability. Alternatively, you may return the tickets to the Box Office for possible resale. The resale of tickets cannot be guaranteed.
Data Protection/Security
Any personal details you agree to share with us will be held by Guildford Borough Council for three years and will be used for the sole purpose of processing your booking. We will not pass your details onto any third parties. If you would prefer not to share your details with us, please buy your tickets in person at the Box Office.
