Property and Transport

The group is made up of members of the business community who have an interest in promoting the view of businesses in relation to property and transport issues in the borough.

Key issues for the group are:

• Commenting on development briefs and other relevant Guildford Borough Council planning documents.
• Working with Surrey County Council and Guildford Borough Council to encourage economic investment in the borough.
• Represent the views of the business community on Park and Ride, car parking and other transport issues.
• Liaising with the Council with regard to specific planning permissions.
• Providing input into the Regional Spatial Strategy and Local Development Framework.
• Involvement in the Council's economic development strategy.
• Involvement in all matters relating to property and transport within the borough.
