Family craft workshops

Come along to our themed craft workshops during the school holidays.

Our drop-in family-friendly craft workshops are held at Salters, just around the corner from Guildford Museum. There are two sessions from 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm on each of the dates listed below and each session costs just £2 per child. 

Venetian Masks

All materials are provided and no booking is required. Suitable for children aged 5-11 years, all children to be accompanied by an adult. 

February half-term: Wednesday 15 February 2012
Make your own greetings cards
We'll be designing and making a variety of fun pop-up greetings cards, including belated Valentine cards!


Easter holidays: Wednesday 4 April 2012
Make some Victorian toys
In association with our Victorian Child exhibition we'll have fun making a variety of simple Victorian toys such as a thaumatrope (a round disk which when spun appears to combine the separate images on each side of the disk into one image).


Summer half term: Wednesday 6 June 2012
Make a royal crown!

To celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, come along and make your own fab crown and be a monarch for a day!


October half term: Wednesday 31 October 2012
