Access - Guildford House

Access information for deaf and disabled visitors.

Guildford Borough Council Heritage Service aims to welcome deaf and disabled visitors to heritage sites in its care and to ensure best possible access to the collection and services. Where this is not possible due to constraints of the heritage environment a reasonable alternative will be offered.

Access to Guildford Heritage Service sites is via steps and there are currently only stairs within the historic buildings. Please contact us in advance so we can assist you as much as possible to prepare for your visit or provide an alternative option.

  • An induction loop is provided at reception or shop desks and in meeting rooms.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Formats such as large print are available for our in-house information.
