Westborough Playrangers- Stoughton Recreation Ground

Guildford Playrangers is a play service aimed at 8 to 12 year olds. Guildford Playranger Project recognises the importance of children being able to play outdoors freely, actively and safely.

This exciting project is currently a free service where qualified and experienced play workers visit parks and open spaces within local communities, supporting and encouraging children to play freely outdoors.

What?

The Play Ranger Project is an open access service which means children are free to come and go as they please.  This is not a childcare service.  Children under 8 will be able to take part but must have parental supervision throughout the session.  All parents with children will be welcome to join in at sessions.

Children will need to wear something appropriate to the weather and expect to get dirty.  Playing outside is fun and messy and is likely to lead to grass, mud and all sorts coming home on children's clothing!

Playrangers believe that children can play in all weathers as long as they have appropriate clothing and will deliver sessions in all weathers adapting their activity to ensure the children have fun. Please do not forget sun hats, sun cream and plenty of drinks for your children during the warm weather and gloves, scarves and hats during cold winter evenings.

We require all parents to complete a child registration form on their first visit to a session. The Child Registration Form is available in the 'downloads' section of this page if you would like to complete it prior to attending. Following initial registration, each child will be asked to provide the Playrangers with their name and age only for the register for each session.

Cost:

Free!
