Community transport

Dial a Ride is a membership service providing accessible transport for elderly or disabled residents of the Borough, who are unable to use other means of transport.

The service operates on a first-come-first-served basis and provides door-to-door transport for shopping, leisure activities, or visiting family and friends. The service also links with Shopmobility for those clients who need it.

There is a small annual membership charge, and a charge for each trip. If you are also a member of a Day Centre, there is a reduced combined annual fee. For further information, please contact Dial-a-ride.
