Browse the displays of archaeology, local history and textiles, learn about Guildford's links with celebrities such as Lewis Carroll and Gertrude Jekyll, and visit the changing exhibitions (there's always something new to see).

The gift shop offers a range of local history books, unusual gifts and cards.

Description: Our new display at the Discovery Table in the discover lounge gallery showcases haiku poems (very short form of poem from Japan) created by vision impaired adults during workshops about Surrey in the First World War held at Guildford Museum.

Description: Presented by Surrey Infantry Museum this display features key moments in the story of the Surrey Infantry regiment. Guildford museum is delighted to display this exhibition and to provide a space for a local museum devastated by fire, which lost its home a space to show its history and update the public on their situation.
