About

''This is a delicious house ....'' remarked Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother on her honeymoon at Polesden Lacey. This country retreat, with glorious views across the rolling Surrey Hills and acres of countryside, was home to famous Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville, who entered royalty and the celebrities of her time. The house has stunning interiors and contains Mrs Greville's fabulous collection of art and ceramics.

The beautiful gardens have something to delight every season, including climbing roses, herbaceous and a winter garden. There are four waymarked around the estate, plus geocaching, a great way of enjoying the outdoors and popular with all ages.
