Visiting the Guildhall
Access information, opening times and location.
The Guildhall is open for self-guided tours and guided tours on Sundays from May to September. Find out more on our Guildhall tours page.
Access to the Guildhall is via the High Street.
The High Street is closed to vehicles between 11am - 4pm.
There is no parking at the Guildhall, however, there are many car parks around the town centre and fantastic public transport links into Guildford.
Access to the Guildhall is via a step up into the entrance of this historic building. The Courtroom is up three steps. A full flight of steps, with a handrail on the right, leads up the Council Chamber.
A portable induction loop is provided at the desk for people who use a hearing aid with a 'T' setting.
Portable ramps are available for access into the entrance and Courtroom. Due to the gradient and lack of handrails, these are recommended for use by people accompanied by a personal assistant only.
The toilets are located down a long flight of steps and are not wheelchair accessible. The nearest accessible toilets are located a short distance outside of the entrance of the building in Tunsgate on the opposite side of the road (operated by a radar key).
Please contact us in advance so we can assist you as much as possible in arrangements for your visit.
