The Big Lunch, Jo Cox Foundation and dozens of other groups have joined forces to invite people to come together with friends, neighbours and others they don't yet know for street parties, picnics, barbecues and bake-off competitions. It follows the first anniversary of MP, Jo Cox's murder on 16 June last year.
Guildford Borough Council will be offering free road closures over the weekend of 17 and 18 June for street parties or other events celebrating The Great Get Together.
