The key improvements planned for the main building include:

improved pedestrian and vehicular flow around the site, eliminating cross-over in services

an improved Book of Remembrance Room and Flower Room with a new Remembrance courtyard
better facilities for the bereaved who are visiting the site and making funeral and memorial arrangements
better staff facilities to support the services on site
an energy-efficient building
improved facilities, offering a calm, reassuring environment
improved and widened access to the site to allow for traffic flow in and out of the site.
