Local Plan - additional arrangements for Extraordinary Council meeting on 25 April
The Council will consider whether or not the Guildford Borough Local Plan: Strategy and Sites should be adopted at its meeting at 7pm on Thursday 25 April 2019.
We anticipate a lot of public interest in this meeting. To help as many people as possible to watch the debate, we have made extra space available at our town centre offices in Millmead House.
As well as the usual public seats in the Council Chamber, there will be extra seating near the Chamber for people to also watch the meeting live on a large TV screen. This increases the total public capacity to 130 seats.
Although more people will be able to attend, there could still be limited capacity depending on the demand for seats. We will manage this on the night, on a first come, first served basis to give a fair chance to all who are interested in attending.
You can view the agenda, report and further information about the Council meeting on our Councillors and Decision Making page.
You can view the independent Planning Inspector's final report and other examination information about the Local Plan on our Local Plan: strategy and sites (2015 - 2034) page.
You can also watch Council meetings live, or catch up after, via our online webcasting at guildford.public-i.tv/core/portal/home.
