Lovelace Neighbourhood Plan - consultation dates announced

A six-week consultation on the Lovelace Neighbourhood Plan 2019-2034 will begin on Monday 4 November.

Following Guildford Borough Council's designation of the Lovelace Neighbourhood Area on 2 July 2015, Ripley and Ockham parish councils have engaged with members of the local community and other stakeholders to produce the Lovelace Neighbourhood Plan. The Lovelace Neighbourhood Area covers Lovelace Ward, encompassing the parishes of Ripley, Ockham and Wisley.

The next stage in this process is a six-week consultation, which will enable people to give their views and opinions on the content of the plan. The consultation will run from Monday 4 November to Monday 16 December 2019.

To see the neighbourhood plan, and to tell us your views, please visit the consultation website at: guildford.inconsult.uk.

Printed copies of the plan will be available to view during the consultation at the main reception of Guildford Borough Council's offices at Millmead and at the libraries in both Horsley and Guildford.

A neighbourhood plan is a document containing planning policies for a single neighbourhood area. If the plan passes a local referendum, it will become part of the Development Plan for the borough and will help decide planning applications within the Lovelace Neighbourhood Area, along with the Council's Local Plan and other considerations.
