Puttenham Neighbourhood Plan - consultation dates announced

A seven-week consultation on the Puttenham Neighbourhood Plan (2016-2033) will begin on Monday 9 March 2020.

Following Guildford Borough Council's designation of the Puttenham Neighbourhood Area on 3 December 2014, Puttenham Parish Council has engaged with members of the local community and other stakeholders to produce the Puttenham Neighbourhood Plan.

A neighbourhood plan is a document containing planning policies for a single neighbourhood area. If the plan is adopted, it will become part of the Development Plan for the borough and be used to help determine planning applications within the Puttenham Neighbourhood Area (Puttenham Parish), along with the Council's Local Plan and other considerations.

Find out more about neighbourhood planning on our neighbourhood planning information pages.

Printed copies of the plan and other submission documents will be available to view during the consultation at the main reception of Guildford Borough Council's offices at Millmead and at Guildford Library. We will be consulting on these proposals from Monday 9 March to Monday 27 April 2020.

If you want to know more about the proposal, or neighbourhood planning in general, please contact our Planning Policy Team by email at planningpolicy@guildford.gov.uk or by telephone on 01483 444 471.
