Guildford's Farmers' Market: Local produce in the heart of Guildford

Farmers Market - Guildford

On the first Tuesday of each month Guildford's High Street is transformed to offer local produce from within a 50-mile radius of Guildford.

From 10.30am-3.30pm you can select delicious fruit, vegetables, meat, drinks and more.

Cllr John Redpath, Lead Councillor for Economy and Regeneration, said:

"Much loved by residents and visitors alike, our Farmers' Market is growing from strength to strength. Each month the High Street is filled with tempting aromas and hard to resist treats. Buying local and buying direct from the producer supports the local economy and is better for the environment, with less fuel used to transport the food to you. An added bonus is getting to hear about the process involved in preparing the produce. I hope you can visit one of our food/farmers' markets, and instead of me, you let your taste buds do the talking"

As a National Farmers' Retail and Markets Association (FARMA) accredited market, we have strict rules on which products are sold. Our producers must produce the goods themselves, using locally sourced ingredients and they must be based within a 50-mile radius of Guildford.

As well as organising our Farmers' Market we also support many other markets, such as our regular North Street Market held on every Friday and Saturday 8.30am - 5pm and specialist markets such as the Antiques and Brocante Market, (next one Sunday 12 September) and Ethical Vegan Market (next one Sunday 19 September) to name a few...

Each Farmers' Market offers our residents delicious food and drink from local producers. From fresh fruit and veg, poultry and meats, to handmade crafts, everything is locally sourced and produced.

Plan your visit to the next Farmer's Market:

  • Tuesday 3rd August
  • Tuesday 7th September
  • Tuesday 5th October
  • Tuesday 2nd November
  • Tuesday 7th December
  • Tuesday 21st December
