Half Term activities at our Lakeside Fun Day and The Hive

Lakeside Fun Day

Looking for some fresh air and fun for the children over half term? Join our Community Wellbeing Team for a day of outdoor activities at Lakeside Nature Reserve, Ash Vale on Thursday 28 October from 10am-2pm.

Our dedicated Community Wellbeing Team have put together a host of fun for all the family and would love for people to join them for an action-packed day including a nature trail with the Scouts and Bingo around the lake. You can get creative with spooktacular Halloween arts and crafts or play traditional fairground games including tin can alley and paper aeroplane races."

Lead Councillor for Community, Cllr Julia McShane adds: "This a fabulous day out for the whole family during the school holidays. Thrive at the Hive will also be there, providing a great opportunity for everyone to get good quality pre-loved clothing, homeware and toys on a pay as you feel basis."

Entry to the Lakeside Fun Day is free of charge. African and globally inspired food will be available to buy from family-run business, Tribal Taste.

There's no need to book - just turn up and have fun! For more information about the event, please call 01483444150 or email
