Guildford Borough Economic Strategy 2013-2031
Enterprise, innovation, infrastructure, skills and employment, and leadership - these are the five cornerstones for growth in the borough's revised economic strategy.
We adopted a long-term economic strategy for the borough in 2011. The national economy has moved on significantly and we engaged with a wide range of business representatives and stakeholders to develop a revised strategy.
The strategy aims to ensure that Guildford will be the leading economy in Surrey in the years up to 2031 and beyond. It also concentrates on improvements to support economic growth, including road infrastructure, housing, skills and employment opportunities, in our urban and rural locations.
We will continue to work with our partners to implement the action plan and maintain Guildford's position as a top-performing borough.
