On-street parking in Guildford

Times and fees

All vehicles can use the pay and display bays unless marked for the use of taxis or blue badge holders only.

You can park in bays nearest to the town centre for up to 30 minutes. Bays further from the town centre have a two-hour time limit. On the east side of the town centre, there are some bays limited to three hours.

For most bays, the cost to park is £1 for 30 minutes. For bays on the east side of the town centre, the cost is 60p for 30 minutes.

On-street parking controls

Controlled hours usually operate between 8.30am and 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday. They also operate during bank and public holidays.

In the streets listed below, the controlled hours are 8.30am to 9.00pm, seven days a week:

  • Eastgate Gardens
  • Bury Fields
  • Millmead Terrace
  • Lawn Road
  • Bury Street

On-street parking in Farnham

Times and fees

In Farnham town centre, you can park in a bay for a total of two hours.

In Castle Street, the cost of on-street parking is 70p per 30 minutes. In The Hart, Long Garden Walk, West Street and Falkner Road the cost is 50p per 30 minutes.

On-street parking controls

Controlled hours for single yellow lines and most parking bays in Farnham town centre operate between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday. They also operate on bank and public holidays.

Some restrictions in the town centre operate until 8.00pm Monday to Saturday. Check the signs for guidance.

Designated blue badge bays and taxi ranks are controlled 24 hours.

No parking is allowed at any time on a double yellow line.
