The Barley Mow Tilford
The Barley Mow is the quintessential English country pub. Warm and welcoming, we serve a fine selection of real ales and wines. Our resident chefs create seasonal menus, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The Barley Mow has changed very little through the ages. Real Ales are kept in the cellar and are still served by hand pump. Today, the pub continues to provide hospitality for locals and visitors alike, and the many photographs and artifacts on its walls give testimony to its long and interesting history.
The Barley Mow continues to be run as a busy and well-loved pub – frequented by people from all walks of life, from visitors passing through, to its “locals”. Watching the cricket with a pint, leaning on the wall outside in the summer, to the warm glow of the open log fires and a glass of mulled wine in the winter – it remains one of life’s constants.
Set in the Surrey Hills, our traditional establishment is reputedly the most photographed pub in the UK. Overlooking the picturesque Tilford Green, we boast a large riverside garden and cosy heated outdoor snug.
During the summer months, games of cricket are frequently played on the green outside - so you can immerse yourself into a quintessential Engish afternoon!
A wonderful destination pub – for cyclists, motor clubs and ramblers alike – we are also family and dog friendly. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
Located right next to the village green with plenty of parking spaces available.
